Okay. So number one problem is I have to type slowly, or my sentences look like this- "elo ow are yo ad wha is going o?" My laptop has touch sensor buttons at the top too that don't seem to work at ALL. Or the touch pad at all. It's a dell with vista. I have done virus scans and nothing has came up. I usually use a cordless mouse but it has never affected it before. And if it makes a difference I am on it up to 3 hours a day.

I was on the internet (Mozilla Firefox) and I was just browsing then a message came up and said something like 'Windows defender needs you to restart your computer to solve a problem' so I clicked it and then it obviously restarted. I tried to log onto my user area and it took longer than usual to load up and when it finally loaded up it had a blank background and my documents, no task-bar or shortcut. The only way I got onto the internet was by going on my downloads going on Spotify and then clicking on an advert, for the past couple of days I've been getting warnings saying that I have a harmful virus so I clicked 'Remove' and it said it had gone but every hour or so it kept coming back up. Also I have Windows Vista. Sorry it's so long :( Happy New Year :) thanks :)

the software you are installingfor this hardware ACPI uniprocessor PC has not not passed the window logo testing to verify its compatibility windows XP continuing your installation of this software may impair or destabilize the correct operation of your system ether immediately or in the future. Microsoft strongly recommends that you stop this installation now and contact the hardware vendor for software that has passed the windows logo testing thats what it tells me i started to do system restore when my P.C started crashing like a week ago and this is the 2nd time i do system restore today cause my P.C crashes .. can any one help me out what do i have to do or download anything ? i have norton 05' scanned my system for virus and notting pops up i really need help can some one help me out please ????????????

I have Verizon High Speed Internet. Wireless, DSL. I have a Modem. Both my laptop and computer are Windows Vista. HP. I know it as nothing to do with my computer becasue i'm usuing a new Laptob and My computer is not the problem, both are Very fast, and clean, No spyware or viruses. I am currently using IE7. Even my M Firefox is slow. I download Google chrome and its still slow. I double checked, my wires they are all secure there are no loose wires. I have a Linksy Router, and it is secured with WPA-PSK. I know no one hacked in, so thats not the case for slow ness. Also, You know how a Modem has green, blinking lights. Sometimes My Internet goes a way, the internet light gos away for minutes or an hour, then the Internet comes back. Its frustrating. My friend has the same Internet as me...she lives a couple doors away...and her Internet is like lightning very fast....AND NO she does not have fios...her internet is the same. as mines. It takes forever for utube and hulu video to load. I have flashplayer 10. something.... SO........................... I'm asking u guys b4 i call the company....

Every time I run "Malwarebytes" or "Spybot Search and Destroy" or my "Mcafee virus scan" in SAFE MODE it goes so far after finding "ErrorSmart" Malware then gives me Blue screen of Death. In normal mode they find the virus and they either wont delete and remove or they freeze up: This is what I get on "Spybot Search and Destroy" Company: Product: ErrorSmart Threat: Malware Description ErrorSmart claims to be an antispyware solution. When the user scans his computer with ErrorSmart hundreds of alleged problems will be found. If the user wants to fix this misidentified threads he has to purchase a licence. ErrorSmart is in close relation to SpywareBOT, AdwareAlert and other malicious software. When I use google and try to go onto websites I get redirected to Anti-virus software advertisements.. and Fake Virus scans.

I have recently got a new laptop with windows 7 and Norton security but within days mystery emails were being sent from my hotmail address seemingly to everyone in my contact list. The email is the same each time. I have ran a full system scan as thought it might be a virus but nothing was found any ideas what to do to stop this?

Ok, Norton picked up a few viruses on my computer called JS.SecurityToolFraud and a few others which Norton didn't give names (They Were Trojans) too. Now Norton Says it got rid of these viruses and i need too take no action. Then i got a notice saying something along the lines of " A seciruty risk appeared, no futher action needed. Then i got the same notice after about 15 minutes. So Norton hasn't got rid off it, is there anyways i can ensure that the viruses and the trojans Ps. I think the Trojans name was .dropper or something like that, Norton is still running fine, Internet links from google lead me too ad sites. Had to type this in too the bar at the top. Computer running slow.

I have a virus that is not allowing me to view hidden files or folders. It won't either allow me to run regedit or any programs to fix that. But I can access most of my files for backup. I just want to somehow select my hidden files, and copy them to a hard drive for backup, but it won't let me unless I am able to view them. Is there any possible way around this, just to let me select them?

Malwarebytes - Used that and no malicious items were found 2. AVG Free 9.0 - Scanned today <also>updated] and no infections found 3. Disk Defragement - I did that today but still slow 4. CCleaner - Cleaned registry, yet it is still slow 5. Cookies and Squlite files - delete those everyday, yet my computer is still slow 6. Avast - Scanned for viruses and non were found, yet my computer STILL goes slow. its not my specs or anything. Even when i play games <there>are no games on here] it laggs and my specs are above recommendation. When i exit game, computer goes ******* slow as hell so i know its not my specs. Any idea whats making my computer slow as hell. There are no viruses, Files, Programs on my computer that would cause this.

I have a gateway mx6421 with windows xp I keep getting the blue death screen which does not stay up long enough for me to get an error code. I have tried to uninstall drivers remove programs and system restore and none have worked. I have tried reinstalling windows xp and it states I am running a newer version (which isn't true). I have done virus scans, disc scans and the blue screen as usual shuts the computer down. I would do a system recovery however I do not have the disc (gateway did not give them) I have tried preforming it from the D drive however once I put in the operating disc which came with the computer it makes it to 18% and the damn blue screen shuts it down. If anyone can help me I'd appreciate it. I just want my computer back and my computer to stop shutting down.

I have a mac and want to install frostwire to download songs. I have heard that downloading songs can also download viruses and spyware, does apply to macs, i have heard that there are viruses that can harm macs operating systems.
