| Anytime I am connected to wireless internet it periodically stops functioning as if I am no longer connected. However, the computer shows that it is still connected, and people around me are having no problems at all. This usually happens four or five times in a two hour period. | Ok, so i got trojan horse the other day. And for some reason the AVG i used wouldn't work, so i tried to use other products but Trojan Horse would free them. So i Re-booted my computer with my CD (that means re-install my computer.. like when off the box) so does the trojan horse still have my credit cards? | Hi Ok my grandma got a new desktop a few weeks ago, it came with a free trial of McAfee which I installed for her no probs (have it myself at home) She already bought a different antivirus package (Bulldog?) which I was going to install when the McAfee trial was up. Anyway my little brother has been up for xmas and since there's only a few days of the McAfee trial left thought he would install it now for her. Since then the pc goes on to the desktop and thats about it, it wont let me open anything in the controll panel and cant get on the internet. It wont even turn off so have to do it by the button! Its as if its loading up constantly but doesnt do anything at all. I'm pretty sure it's cos of the 2 antivirus software together am I right? How do I sortr it? | I was on the internet (Mozilla Firefox) and I was just browsing then a message came up and said something like 'Windows defender needs you to restart your computer to solve a problem' so I clicked it and then it obviously restarted. I tried to log onto my user area and it took longer than usual to load up and when it finally loaded up it had a blank background and my documents, no task-bar or shortcut. The only way I got onto the internet was by going on my downloads going on Spotify and then clicking on an advert, for the past couple of days I've been getting warnings saying that I have a harmful virus so I clicked 'Remove' and it said it had gone but every hour or so it kept coming back up. | I deleted norton virus since my account already expired. So I borrowed my brother's Mcafee and installed it to my computer. I tried getting on the Internet but when I do the page connection says cannot be connected. So I checked the signal strength and it says " very good" but it's still not connected? I share a router that is located in my sister's room which is like 10 ft away, and her computer is working just fine with the Internet. But I can't get on because it says " enter http in the address". I try to diganose and repair it say "no problems detected"... I don't understand what can be blocking me from the Internet. | My anti virus for comodo internet security won't update. A reminder popped up saying it was out of date. So i tried to manually update it. it stops at 51% and says "failed to update the virus signature database. | o.k. this thing called security tool kept popping up and telling me all these viruses I had on the computer. Well now it completely blanked out my screen making it the only thing visible and everytime I try presing Ctrl + Alt + Delete to go to my task manager it blocks it off with a virus pop up!!! The only way i'm on the internet right now is because I went threw start... PLEASE help me, there is absolutly no way for me to get this of my computer! | I tried up update my anti virus, which in return corrupted all of my drivers for mouse keyboard and back up hard drive. So I put in the only disc that came with the computer and was going to reinstall them, but it was a recovery disc. While it was doing whatever I noticed it said backing up files. When I got into the computer ....everything was gone.... So my question is... Is there any way possible to get any information back? At the moment there's something wrong that it won't even let my USB wireless internet to connect, so I can't download anything.
