It comes up everytime saying i may have a virus, i loaded something along time ago malwares i think was the name, and it took off the pop up thing, but it wont let me do it now, any other free things like that that can help me get rid of this?

Hey guys! Merry Xmas & Happy New Year!!!! I need help... my laptop has several... keyboards sometimes doesnt report when typing...as if it didnt keep up with my typing... and i dont type that fast... And when i open facebook it turn slows....and my laptop s a bit slow...i dot knnow why..I only installed itunes, skype, msn messenger, and mcaffee anvirus....thats all... nothing else... I've scannedit and no virus,spyware or anything that sort.... please... need help :( please........

My computer was acting real funny, hanging up in the middle of processes, not letting me access task manager to quit them, etc.. I started in Safe Mode with networking and completed a full virus scan. I ran Chkdsk and it took 18 hours. It replaced bad clusters in about 20 files. Now Windows won't start. It gives me the option to repair and I click on it, but nothing ever happens other than a black screen with my cursor arrow on it. I tried to start Windows normally and the same thing happens. Please only answer if you know what you're talking about. Teens trying to up their points count by giving stupid answers will get thumbs down.

Every time I try to log on to that site, I get redirected to Google (and when I try to look up my wish list, it's like my browser automatically replaces "metawishlist" with "google" and gives me a B.S. "not found" message). Did metawishlist go down, or is there some spyware/virus causing this? Thanks!

This virus or whatever it is won't let me access windows internet explorer. When I try to start in safe mode it says something like sorry for the inconvenience your computer won't start in safe mode. I want to run a malwarebytes scan and delete whatever this is, what can I do? Please help.

My computer has been REALLY slow lately. Both the internet and the desktop are annoyingly slow. It's a PC and it's not new, but I'm not sure how old it is. We've had it for 3 years and before that, my aunt had for at least 4 years. I defragment it and do the disk cleanup regularly. And it has a lot of free memory left (it's like 75% of the computer's total memory is free). I have an up-to-date anti-virus program on it (BitDefender), and it runs scans on it, and has NEVER found a virus. All of the fire-walls are up and running. What could be wrong with my computer?? Please help!! *Thanks!*

I have a virus which disables safemode theirs a program that forces the computer into safe mode I ran it and my computer is trying to go into safe mode but the virus is disabling it and causing y computer to endlessly loop and not turn on, ever! I tried recovery consol and everything just had to make an account to ask this because no one knows the answer. I have been tryign to remove a couple of viruses that disable my taskmanager and my safe mode boot. So to force my computer into safe mode, i used bootsafe. Now my computer is stuck in an infinite loop attempting to go into safe mode but it restarts into the first page. I went into recovery consol and typed DEL boot.bat that seemed convincing so i retryed and it didnt work. So im desperate for help. Theirs years worth of pictures in their.

I have a Dell Latitude Laptop using Windows XP. I took it to Geek Squad because it was skipping and the freezing up when I played DVDs or any kind of audio. When it freezes I have to turn it off witut shutting it down. It also wouldn't freeze right away..it freezes into about 10 minutes of playing DVDs or youtube videos. It was also making weird noises when it froze. Best Buy informed me that the noise wasn't any hardware issue, but the kind of noise the computer makes when it's frozen. They said nothing was wrong hardware wise, and that I had 6 viruses on the laptop. Well now, all those viruses are removed, and my laptop is still skipping and freezing when I play DVDs..to the point where I have to turn off the computer without shutting it down. If it's not viruses, and geek squad said everything is fine with the computer physically, then what is it?

I have an HP Pavilion dv6000 with Windows Vista. My mouse locks up and the computer freezes. I thought it was a virus but after running a scan, it still kept happening. I tried cleaning up my registry but I don't think that helped. HP was no help to me so what should I do?

My laptop has been A LOT slower than usual, and a lot of the pages on the internet don't respond. I'm thinking it's a virus, and i would like to know what you think it could be, and what i could do to prevent further viruses, and "cure" this one? anything can help :) thank you. Oh, and when it doesn't respond, the screen goes like white, but you can still see through it, and it makes this low beep noise?

It seems avira can't open and scan the files containing the virus, ive tried spybot, but it only removes spyware and not the virus itself. Its causing the my computer to run extremely slow, its always oprating on 100 percent even if im not doing anything, any tips on how to remove it? thanks in advance

My laptop recently got a virus on it from windows and there was no way of fixing it so i had to wipe the computer clean. The people at the computer place backed up all my stuff. SO i have my computer now and i havee all my documents and pictures. I dont have all my programs that i had, like itunes. So my itunes got wiped and i need to know did i lose all my music that i had on it. In the backup folder there is a sub folder for itunes but since it is not on my computer i cant access it. If i download it will all my music be there Please can some one help answer my question !

Every time I run "Malwarebytes" or "Spybot Search and Destroy" or my "Mcafee virus scan" in SAFE MODE it goes so far after finding "ErrorSmart" Malware then gives me Blue screen of Death. In normal mode they find the virus and they either wont delete and remove or they freeze up: This is what I get on "Spybot Search and Destroy" Company: Product: ErrorSmart Threat: Malware Description ErrorSmart claims to be an antispyware solution. When the user scans his computer with ErrorSmart hundreds of alleged problems will be found. If the user wants to fix this misidentified threads he has to purchase a licence. ErrorSmart is in close relation to SpywareBOT, AdwareAlert and other malicious software. When I use google and try to go onto websites I get redirected to Anti-virus software advertisements.. and Fake Virus scans.

So i logged into facebook this morning and it said 6 hours ago (5am) that i'd sent these messages to my friends in alphabetical order. But then it stopped at the letter C. The message to all these people was the same "yourfreedomonline. info these people are making some extra money online pretty neat" What should i do? i use Mozilla Firefox, i've changed my password, but how do i know if my facebook has been hacked or it has a virus? Thanks.
